Strong Hybrid Technology lends Maruti Suzuki much needed advantage

Maruti Suzuki has been integrating hybrid technology into its vehicles to enhance fuel efficiency and performance. They offer two types of hybrid systems:

Smart Hybrid Technology: This system is designed to increase fuel efficiency and enhance driving performance. It features an engine that automatically stops when idle and silently starts under optimal conditions. It includes a dual battery setup with a lithium-ion battery, which stores energy generated during braking to assist with the engine’s idle start-stop and torque assist functions. This technology is available in several Maruti Suzuki models, starting at a price of Rs 8.69 lakh.

Strong Hybrid Technology: Launched with a campaign titled ‘It’s Unbelievable. It’s Strong Hybrid,’ this technology is available in models like the Grand Vitara and Invicto. It offers a mileage of over 1200 km on a single full tank and up to 60% of city driving in EV mode. The Strong Hybrid system blends electric mobility with an internal combustion engine (ICE), harnessing the power of both under various driving conditions. Both technologies aim to provide a more eco-friendly driving experience with improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
