On the 101st birth anniversary of the iconic Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), actor NTR Jr. and his brother, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, paid a heartfelt tribute to their late grandfather at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. The solemn event, attended by the Nandamuri family, honored the legacy of the late actor-politician. NTR was a legendary figure who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years across three terms. He also starred in nearly 300 films and earned three National Awards. His contributions to both cinema and politics left an indelible mark on Indian society. During the tribute, Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram were seen sitting on the floor at the memorial, offering flowers and paying their respects with folded hands. Other family members, including NTR’s son, actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna, also gathered to honor the revered figure. Jr. NTR is gearing up for his much-anticipated pan-India film “Devara: Part,” directed by Kortala Siva. The film, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their Telugu debuts, is set to release on October 10th. Additionally, Jr. NTR is busy with another major project, a high-action spy sequel titled “War 2,” where he seems to be playing the negative role. Interestingly, this film marks his Hindi debut, with production currently underway in Mumbai. On this significant occasion, Kalyan Ram also unveiled the teaser of his 21st film, tentatively titled “NKR 21”, directed by Pradeep Chilukuri. The teaser, titled “Fist of Flame,” has already created a buzz among fans. The Nandamuri family’s tribute to NTR reflects the respect and admiration they hold for their legendary patriarch, whose impact continues to resonate across generations.
