A private helicopter carrying seven people, including six pilgrims, made an emergency landing near the Kedarnath helipad in Uttarakhand due to a technical snag. Despite losing control, the pilot managed to land safely just meters from the helipad. The incident occurred early on Friday and involved a helicopter that had departed from the Sirsi helipad bound for Kedarnath. There were seven people on board, including the pilot and six pilgrims. Fortunately, everyone was safe, and the passengers even returned after receiving “darshan” at the temple. The Rudraprayag District Magistrate, Saurabh Gaharwar praised the pilot for his commendable job which helped in saving the lives of pilgrims.
