Man runs naked in Virgin Australia flight, arrested   

A  Virgin Australia flight from Perth to Melbourne witnessed a rather unusual incident midair. A male passenger allegedly ran naked down the aisle of the aircraft, knocking down a crew member in the process. The situation escalated to the point where the flight had to turn back mid-air.  The man reportedly went “bananas” and started running up and down the aisle after the plane had been in the air for about an hour. Marshals aboard the flight acted swiftly, placing the disruptive passenger in handcuffs until the plane safely touched down.  Upon landing back at Perth Airport, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) arrested the man. He was then transferred to a hospital for assessment.
