Kannada Actors Darshan, Pavithra Arrested

The Bengaluru police arrested popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and actress Pavithra Gowda in connection with the murder of a fan, Renuka Swamy, 33. The role of Pavithra Gowda, who is allegedly in a relationship with Darshan, is being investigated. Darshan’s fan, who had allegedly sent some lewd messages to Pavithra, was abducted and killed.

Pavithra Gowda, a little-known actress for the film industry, was married earlier to Sanjay Singh and had a child from her first marriage. Darshan, 47, who was also married to Vijayalakshmi, was accused of domestic violence. Pavithra had acted in a few movies, including Preethi Kithabhu.
