Overcome by panic consequent to a series of eerie happenings, the women’s degree college hostel at Balemla in Suryapet district of Telangana was deserted by several of the inmates overnight. Their experiences were no less in gravity compared to grim experiences of girls portrayed in the iconic horror films.
A majority of the students were called back by their parents in view of the scariest treatment they were subjected to. There were no ghosts haunting the students in their hostel rooms. But always they feared that dangers were lurking around every corner of the hostel. They all felt threatened very much by the lady principal of the institution.
The principal had allegedly turned an alcoholic and when she was in an inebriated condition, she had been tormenting the students and parents visiting them often.
The principal had maintained her own stock of liquor bottles in the hostel premises much against the wishes of the inmates. Those opposed her way were beaten up and tormented. Demonstrating a rare show of unity all the students locked up the rooms in which the principal was residing. They called in the local media and local officials.
The students alleged that the principal was quite abusive and resorted to physical attacks targeting even the degree students. As the principal’s chamber was locked up by the protesting students, almost every inmate in the hostel had a sleepless night. They demanded action against the principal and her associates in the institution before their chilling tales made headlines in the media.
