The Cyberabad police conducted a raid on a farmhouse in Janwada, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, following information about a rave party being organized there. The farmhouse is allegedly owned by Raja Pakala, brother-in- law of the BRS Working President, K T Rama Rao. The city police conducted search operations in the houses of the relatives of the accused

The officials discovered seven unauthorized foreign liquor bottles and ten loose Indian liquor bottles, totaling 10.5 liters. The premises were checked with a sniffer dog, and on suspicion, the male participants were tested with drug kits. No drugs could be fund in the premises, but one of the participants, Vijay Madduri tested positive for cocaine and was sent to the hospital for a blood test. A case was registered against him under section 27 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Mokila Police Station

The party host, Raj Pakala, did not obtain an Excise license for serving liquor, leading to a case being registered against him under sections 34 A, 34 (1) r/w 9 of the Excise Act by the State Excise Task Force. This raid is part of the ongoing efforts by the Cyberabad police and the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau to curb the drug menace in the region. They have intensified operations in recent months, focusing on hotels, pubs, bars, and farmhouses in and around Hyderabad.
