Hyderabad: Oasis School of Excellence, Shamshabad, commemorated Children’s Day in a unique and memorable way by hosting a musical night, a vibrant platform for students to showcase their exceptional talents.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami as the chief guest. Dignitaries who took part included Devika Sharma, a top-10 contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, G. Srividhya Reddy, Director of Oasis Educational Society, G. Ekambar Reddy, Treasurer, Kiran Patel, Board Member and M. Umadevi, Principal of Oasis School.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome from the school’s Director, Srividhya Reddy, who highlighted the school’s remarkable achievements over the past year.

The evening unfolded with an array of musical performances that mesmerised the audience. Students showcased their instrumental prowess through live performances on the piano and tabla, while others enchanted the crowd with their melodious recitations of slokas and their rendition of the powerful Jai Shri Ram super crew medley, entirely orchestrated by the students themselves.

The stage became a confluence of inspiration and creativity as students from various grades paid homage to the rich musical heritage of India. Their performances ranged across genres—from devotional and traditional folk to Western and cinematic melodies—leaving the audience spellbound. The event also featured classical dance sequences, elevating the atmosphere to new heights of cultural grandeur.

Adding to the charm, the school choir delivered a captivating medley, and the teaching staff and parents enthusiastically joined the musical celebration, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness.
