India expels Canadian diplomats, withdraws its high commissioner

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) emphasized that the baseless targeting of Indian diplomats in Canada was wholly unacceptable and expressed a lack of faith in the Canadian government’s commitment to their safety. This move underscores the escalating tensions between the two nations and represents one of the lowest points in their bilateral relations.
