Long awaited Vizag SCoR zone to be operational soon

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has confirmed that the South Coastal Railway Zone with its headquarters in Visakhapatnam will be operational soon. This new zone, also known as the South Coast Railway (SCoR), will include the existing Guntakal, Guntur, and Vijayawada divisions. This development is part of a long-standing promise and is expected to significantly enhance the railway infrastructure in the region.
