Dismissing rumours on merger of his party with BJP as unfounded and baseless, BRS working president, K T Rama Rao has made it categorically clear that the party, despite the setbacks it received in the assembly elections and Parliamentary polls, would be rebuilt such way that it would remain strong and relevant in politics for the next five decades.

Welcoming leaders from Station Ghanpur who rejoined the BRS at Telangana Bhavan, he said that the process of rebuilding would involve several key strategies including grassroots engagements aimed at shaping its support base into a robust organisational network that would remain connected to the needs and concerns of the general public.

Exuding confidence that party would be attracting wider range of supporters and fresh crop of leadership to in place of the those who deterred the organisation after enjoying positions and power for ten long years, he said that the party programmes and policies would be shaped such a way that it would be adaptable to the changing political landscapes by engaging with broader audience.

Developing a long-term strategic plan that outlines its goals and milestones for the next several decades would be its priority as they were hoped to provide a roadmap for sustained success, he asserted.
